Is There a War on Women by States & the Federal Gov't ???

The Attorneys From a Women's Advocacy Organization - Legal Momentum, Share Plenary Reasons to Believe So...

My recent interview with attorneys from the Women’s Legal Defense and Education Fund - Legal Momentum: Azaleea Carlea, Legal Director, and Seher Khawaja, Deputy Legal Director and Director of Economic Justice Justice. The Advocacy Organization is based in New York City.

Discussed are a number of urgent issues plaguing many women and even affecting men today. From issues plaguing families with regard to a patchwork of laws governing the 50 states, creating a quagmire to navigate for pregnant women, women with children, and those on the edge and in need of financial assistance - where jobs do not keep up with the cost of living.

Currently with Budget Cuts - the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Outreach Programs are in Peril. These are Lifeline Programs that reach Vulnerable Women & Children - to help protect against domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking - and MUST be protected.

A major discussion is on issues being voted on currently by the US Congress - Congressional Bills that would “upend” the American democracy, healthcare, and fundamental rights as we know them.

A valuable interview and analysis that brings historical perspectives on family values to modern-day reality. A must see program.
